Choosing a doctor to manage pain, shouldn't be PAINFUL
With one question, we can make your choices far easier.
Is your doctor affiliated to a PAIN specific society where training is offered? This is vitally important because pain management isn't a recognised speciality in South Africa, these doctors are recognised as specialists with a SPECIAL INTEREST.
There are many doctors who take this very seriously and put in extra time and effort, above and beyond their degree to ensure that your care is of the highest quality!

Are there benefits within my medical aid for this?YES! Most medical aids have some form of conservative back and neck pain managed care programme. Not all are equal. Enquire with your medical aid if you are unsure of the benefits available to you
